About the piece
Written in 2019 in response to a commission from the Prayer Book Society, to words by Neil Inkley.
The piece starts prayerfully, giving thanks for guidance, and works its way to a bold resolution on the words “O Lord, open thou our lips, and our mouths shall show forth thy praise.” It would work well in a celebratory service about prayer.
There are two versions, both for SATB and organ. The second is a simplified version.

Singing it?
You're welcome to print as many copies as your choir needs. Robin would love to hear when and where it's sung.
