About the piece
Completed in 2026, commissioned by and dedicated to Bury Parish Church for their 150th anniversary. The words are adapted from Psalm 84.
Marked Lilting and Unhurried, it opens with a full organ introduction in 6/8. The tenors and basses begin, and the full choir follows.
The first performance is in February 2027. The full score will be free to download shortly after, so for now you can look through the first six pages.
